How To Automatically Enable Do Not Disturb Mode On Apple Watch
WatchOS 4 version allows Apple Watch users to automatically silence all notifications whenever you’re in the work and bring the sound back when the workout ends.
This feature is very useful, especially when you’re in a yoga session or don’t want to be distracted with your favorite motivational tunes through your AirPods.
This cool feature, called Workout Do Not Disturb, currently works on watchOS 4 and later. If you have not enabled this feature on your Watch, here’re steps to quickly enable it with just a few taps.
Steps To Enable Workout Do Not Disturb
You can only enable/disable the Workout Do Not Disturb feature through the Watch app on your paired iPhone running iOS 11. It cannot directly enable in the Settings app on your Apple Watch. By default, Workout Do Not Disturb is turn off. To enable it, do the following steps:
1) Launch the companion Watch app on your paired iPhone running iOS 11.
2) Move to the My Watch tab at the bottom of the screen
3) Next, tap on General > Do Not Disturb.
4) Toggle the switch next to Workout Do Not Disturb ON.
“Automatically turn on Do Not Disturb when you start a workout, and turn off when the workout ends,” you can read the feature’s description to know more about it. Once the Workout Do Not Disturb is turned on, you won’t be disturbed by a text message or other notification mid-deadlift anymore, when you are in your yoga session, when you are listening to your favorite motivational music and so more.
After that, your Apple Watch will automatically exit Workout Do Not Disturb mode on your behalf. You just pull down from the top and find all the notifications that have arrived during your workout session staying there.
