iPhone 7S Series Possibly To Come With Glass Back Design

Almost of leaks about Apple’s upcoming iPhones is relating to the highly anticipated OLED-based model, but according to the fresh new images from Apple tipster, reposted by French outlet iGeneration yesterday, they have portrayed the rumored glass design for the LCD-based iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus models at the back.

Changing from the aluminum into the glass back panel is expected to support more inductive wireless charging without having to dig holes in the rear case. According to John Gruber, the inductive charging feature will only appear after the next updates of the official iOS 11 version like the Portrait ode support for iPhone 7 Plus, which came about one month only after the phone’s launch.

Not to be similar to a OLED iPhone’s repositioned dual-lens camera, the images show a pair of horizontally-aligned lenses, bonus a Force Touch Home button, the usual top and bottom chin, like the current iPhone 7 Plus models.

Another benefit if iPhone 7S uses glass casings as it can completely remove the antenna bands. Coming back ten years ago as the original iPhone’s debut, Apple is expected to launch a trio of new smartphone models this year, including  a rumored premium iPhone 8 featuring a completely new design with an edge-to-edge OLED screen, a 2.5D curved glass back, 3D sensors and other features, along with the updates to the existing iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus variants.
