How To Rename Album On iPhone/iPad

For some reasons, you want to change the name of an album in your Photos app. For instance, you took a lot of photos during your trips with your family. However, after the trips, you feel the name of the photo album is not suitable and you want its name to make you recall your memories. Fortunately, you can now easily do it just by going to Photos app and editing the album. By default, iOS platform does not allow you to rename the default albums in your iPhone, including Screenshots, Camera Roll, People, and Videos. Step 1: First of all, open the Photos app on your device.

Step 2: Tap on Edit option at the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Under every photo album, you will see its name. You will have to tap on the album name to enter the new name.

Step 4: After renaming the album, tap Done button at the top right corner.

If you want to create a new photo album on your device, it can easily be done by following these steps:

Step 1: Launch the Photos App on your phone.

Step 2: Tap on the “+” icon on the left top corner.

Step 3: Enter the name of the new album and then tap Save.

Now, you can easily add the images into the new album you just created. Adding photos to your Photo albums is also very easy.

Step 1: Launch the Photos app and go to the source folder.

Step 2: Tap the “Select” button at the top right corner and choose the images you want to move.

Step 3: Now tap the “Add to” button to move the selected iamges to the new folder.

Step 4: The photos will now be moved to your new folder.
