There are two downloads needed before starting the process. Make sure you download:
Both of these downloads are free to download. The second requirement is an official Microsoft software. You no need to worry, as there’s no risk of your private data theft by these programs.
- Go to Windows Virtual Machine page, and move to the Mac tab first. After that, download the MSEdge for Win10 by clicking on the dropdown menus. The file is about 5GB, so it would take some time to finish the process.
- Extract the archive file on your Mac OS X, and then use VirtualBox to open the file.
- Now, go to ‘Appliance Settings’ in VirtualBox software, select Import to import the downloaded VM files into Virtual Box. The file, after being unarchived, will be larger, up to 10GB.
- Win10 will now appear in the left pane, click on the ‘start’ icon (green arrow) on top of VM VirtualBox Manager window.
Wait for a while, and you will be greeted with a ‘Thank you’ line. The Microsoft Edge browser is now ready to use on your machine.
