How to Fix Provision.cpp:71 Error in Cydia Impactor

Saurik, who made Cydia Impactor, has recently updated his utility to address another error called http-win.cpp:158 dealing with “Peer certificate cannot be authenticated…SSL” issue that users saw when they tried to re-jailbreak by using Yalu app. When you download the new version of Impactor, there is now an option called “install Cydia Extender.” Saurik tweeted out about this new feature, but no description was included.

And today, someone on Twitter recently asked solutions for an error in Cydia Impactor called provision.cpp:71. Just in a couple of days, a lot of people are having trouble with this tool when trying to install .IPA files to their iPhone and iPad.

For those who don’t know Cydia Extender, this is a new feature that helps you prolong your certificate as iOS users normally need to re-jailbreak or re-sign their apps every seven days.

Back to the main error 71 in Cydia Impactor, although updating to the latest Impactor version will not help you resolve this issue, we have found a solution to fix it for you.
