Know How You Can Reset Your Apple ID Password

Every time when you log into your Apple ID on a new device to download something from the App Store for the first time, you’ll need your password to make it done. In case you don’t remember your Apple ID and password, you can reset or recover it easily using the web browser on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Here is how you need to do

Use Email or Security Questions to Recover Your Apple ID Password

If you can’t remember your password, you can read instructions from Apple to recover your password. If your recovery email is registered well, the instructions will be emailed right to you. If you remember the security questions, you can reset right on the web. To do that:

  • Launch Safarion your device
  • Go to
  • Enter your Apple IDto begin the recovery process.
  • Tap on my passwordNext
  • Select Get an Emailso that Apple sends the reset instructions to your registered recovery email address. Or Tap on Answer security questions to recover directly on the website.

Use Two-Factor Authentication to Recover Your Apple ID password

  • Open Safari broswer
  • Got to
  • Log in your Apple ID (usually your email address).
  • Tap on Next.
  • Enter your trusted phone number/ Reset from another device.
  • Choose Next.
  • Tap on Use trusted phone number > Next
  • Select Start Account Recovery.

Recover Your Apple ID

In case you are unable to remember which email or username you use to set up for your Apple ID, you can also find that out from Apple.

  • Open Safari brosswer
  • Go to
  • Select Forgot Apple ID.
  • Enter your first and last names, and email address. If the email address is also your Apple ID, Apple will inform you.
  • Enter any other email addresses you have used before > Next
  • Select Reset by Email then Apple will send reset instructions to your registered recovery email address. Or you can choose Answer Security Questions to reset right on the website.

Apple will then find an Apple ID associated with your email addresses and help you recover the associated password via email or security questions.
