How to Jailbreak iOS 10.2 Using Yalu102 Alpha

Yalu102 iOS 10.2 jailbreak IPA file is now available for users who want to do a semi-untethered jailbreak on your iOS device. This jailbreak file is created by Marco Grassi and Luca Todesco, and offers support to devices running iOS 10.2 for first time.

Steps to Jailbreak iOS 10.2 Using Yalu102 Alpha and Cydia Impactor

Step 1:  Connect your compatible iPhone/iPad to the Mac/PC via a lightning cable.

Step 2: Create a full back up of your data first via iTunes to ensure you can restore the contents in case there is something wrong with the jailbreak.

Step 3: Disable Passcode/Touch ID on your device by going to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode.

Step 4: Deactivate Find My iPhone by going to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone, and then turn it off.

Step 5: Launch Cydia Impactor on your computer

Step 6: Drag and drop the downloaded IPA Yalu102_alpha file into the window of Cydia Impactor.

Step 7: Type in your Apple ID & password when it’s prompted by Cydia Impactor.

Step 8: Wait until Cydia Impactor install the jailbreak app on the device.

Step 9: Once done, disconnect the device from the computer and go to Settings > General > Profile(s) and Device Management. Here, tap on Trust and repeat it for the relevant certificate.

Step 10: Launch the jailbreak Yalu102 app from your Home screen and tap ‘Go‘ to start the jailbreak process. After the process is complete, the device will reboot, and then you’ll see the Cydia icon on the Home screen.
