Few Easy Steps To Increase Brightness On iPhone With a Dark Screen
You have updated your iPhone/iPad to the iOS 10, but you are not able to see clearly on your iPhone frequently or your screen is too dark. Perhaps the brightness is low, maybe not. So, in this post, we’ll tell you the way to fix iPhone screen too dark.
Before iOS 10, there is only Brightness setting, you can adjust it easily. But now there are 2 settings – White Point and Brightness, so you need to get familiar with both settings after reading the instruction.
- Check Out Your Current Brightness Level
To check out the brightness level, you just swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up Control Center. Then you’ll see a slider; drag it to the right to increase brightness level as you want. In case you drag the slider, but the brightness level is still too dark, you need check the new setting: Reduce White Point.
- Check White Point Settings
This accessibility setting on iPhone makes your screen become dimmer. This new setting is designed to help people who have a disability use iPhone easier. Sometimes the issues occur when Accessibility settings are activated accidentally.
If you adjusted the brightness to maximum, but your iPhone is still dark, follow the given steps to fix it.
- Go to Settings > General > Accessibility.
- On the top of the screen, you will see a “Display Accommodations” button, just tap on it.
- Then, the take a look at “Reduce White Point” option at the bottom of the screen. If the setting is activated (the slider green), swipe the slider towards right to turn it off.
Your brightness level should now be normal. If it’s still the same, you should do All Settings Reset by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings to remove the possibility of a glitch in your Settings, which cause your iPhone’s screen dark.
