Share your Fitness Metrics and activity circles on iOS 10 via Activity App
There is a completely new app when you update your iPhone/ iPad to iOS 10 and Apple Watch to WatchOS 3 that is Activity app. It allows you to share your fitness metrics (and activity circles) with friends. As the spirit of competition is a main factor for lots of people, so this allows you to compete with your friends, try hard and finally overcome them. If you want to share your fitness metrics with other people, first you must send an invitation to them. Once they accept your invite, you will be able to see their fitness metrics and of course they’ll see yours as well. Here is how you can do to share fitness metrics with your friends using the Activity app.
How to Share Fitness Metrics with Friends in Activity App
- Launch the Activity app from your Home screen
- Tap on the Sharing tab
- Tap on the plus sign in at the upper right corner.
- Select the contact you want to send an invite to.
- When they have accepted the invite, you will see them in your list within the Sharing tab.

From here, you can tap on their name to see more in-depth their fitness metrics. There are also some options you can do such as mute notifications, hide your activity, and remove friend. You can also use the speech bubble at the top of the screen to send messages to them about their Activity progress or sometimes stimulate them to beat you.
