Great news for all iOS users that the iOS 10 can now be jailbroken. In this post, we will instruct you how to jailbreak iOS 10, iOS 10.1, iOS 10.1.1 on compatible devices with Cydia Impactor and mach_portal + Yalu jailbreak tool
Before starting the jailbreak, as we said earlier, Luca Todesco has launched the Project Zero exploit released by Ian Beer, so you should know which firmware versions and devices are supported for this jailbreak tool. Besides, you need to take note that this is just a semi-untethered and beta jailbreak, so the jailbreak mode needs to be re-entered after each reboot.

- Download Cydia Impactor for Windows • Mac
- Download and install the latest iTunes version.
- A computer running on macOS or Windows.
- Have an Apple ID or developer ID (you can register at appleid.apple.com.)

How to Jailbreak iOS 10.1.1 Using Mach_Portal and Yalu
Step 1: Connect your compatible iPhone/iPad to the Mac/PC with a lightning cable.
Step 2: Make a full back up first via iTunes to ensure you can restore the contents in case there is something wrong with the jailbreak.
Step 3: Turn off Passcode/Touch ID on your device by going to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode.
Step 4: Deactivate Find My iPhone by navigating to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone, and then turn it off.
Step 5: Launch Cydia Impactor on your computer
Step 6: Drag and drop the downloaded IPA Yalu file in the window of Cydia Impactor.
Step 7: Enter Apple ID & password when it’s prompted by Cydia Impactor.
Step 8: Wait until Cydia Impactor to install the jailbreak app on the device.
Step 9: Once installed, disconnect the device from computer and go to Settings > General > Profile(s) and Device Management. Here, tap on Trust and do it again for the relevant certificate.
Step 10: Launch the jailbreak app “mach_portal” from the Home screen and wait for some minutes. After the process is complete, the device will respring, and then Cydia will appear on the Home screen.
That’s all you have to do. You have now successfully jailbreak your iOS device. But remember, this is a semi-untethered jailbreak, so you have to repeat the Step 10 after each reboot to put device into the jailbreak mode.
